La afasia es un trastorno o pérdida del lenguaje verbal en sus aspectos de expresión y o comprensión como resultado de una lesión cerebral en el hemisferio izquierdo en las zonas de coordinación del lenguaje y que tiene lugar después de que el lenguaje haya sido desarrollado e integrado. Para poder hablar de afasia deberán darse las siguientes premisas: tener adquirido el lenguaje oral, tener una lesión en las áreas del lenguaje y mostrar una alteración del lenguaje en la expresión o en la recepción.

La alopecia androgénica o calvicie masculina es una manifestación fisiológica que ocurre en personas genéticamente predispuestas. Durante la adolescencia estas personas producen más cantidad de una enzima llamada 5-alfa-reductasa, que transforma la testosterona en dihidrotestosterona (DHT). Esta hormona es la culpable del adelgazamiento del pelo y de la disminución progresiva de los folículos pilosos donde nace el pelo.
